HE is slowly becoming the talk of the Dales as Tom King but away from the soap, actor James Chase has had a rather intriguing life.
James made his first appearance on the soap as Tom in April 2023 as Jimmy’s nephew.
The 28 year old has been turning heads ever since thanks to his charming ways and has built up a loyal following among devoted soap fans.
On-screen, he quickly managed to charm his former childhood sweetheart Belle Dingle into bed with the lovers quickly beginning a romance and moving in together before marrying one another earlier this month.
However, cracks began to appear on the day of the wedding with fans now aware that Tom’s character is about to take a sinister turn.
It has been confirmed that Belle and Tom are set for an abusive marriage with Tom coercively controlling his wife.

He is also set to subject her to mental and emotional abuse in harrowing upcoming scenes.
Away from screens, James lives a much more fun and chaos-free life.
Before hitting the big time in Emmerdale, James was a burgeoning name in entertainment with small acting and voiceover roles.
He appeared in a succesful stage version of Robin of Loxley directed by Andrew Walkington.

Elsewhere, he enjoyed acting parts in The Beginning and End of Everything and in Art of Love.
Not content with just being an actor, he took on a series of voice projects, most notably working for the Saint Kitts and Nevis investment programme in the Caribbean as well as voicing campaigns for the Dominica citizenship administration.
Away from the working world, James is a fan of a sunny holiday abroad.
He recently took a dreamy trip to Sicilly and made his fans green with envy as he shared a slew of snaps online.
In one photo, James opened his mouth wide as he stuck his tongue out and took a huge lick of an ice cream on the trip.
Sicily is known for its luxury ice creams and James appeared to unable to indulge in some as he worked his way around one of the sweet treats.
He also shared some photos of him strolling through the streets as he donned a funky holiday shirt.
Something else, James gets up to when he’s not acting is collecting quirky action figures as part of his lifelong hobby.
James is addicted to collecting Funko Pops! and has an extensive collection at his Leeds home.

A slew of the items could be seen surrounding the 28 year old’s bedroom as he showed off online earlier this year.
Self-described as a “goofball”, his unique Funko Pops! hobby certainly seems to fit that sentiment.
