A SKINCARE pro revealed how she obtained a glass-like complexion.

Her DIY facemask is one of the reasons she was able to get rid of her acne, dark spots, and scars.

TikToker Jaime Nicole (@jjjaimenicole) created a series about her beauty routine after suffering from acne.

“Welcome to the glass skin series,” she captioned the video.

In the clip, she showed pictures of her skin before she used her method.

“I dealt with a number of things. Dark spots, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, bumps under my skin, and hormonal breakouts,” she said,

Jaime said other people would be able to achieve the same results with turmeric and honey.

“The main ingredient, turmeric, is insane for brightening. Like, that’s the only way I can put it,” the TikToker said.

“It’s going to brighten the appearance of your acne scars,” she continued.

“The best thing I’ve noticed with this is the evening of my skin tone, and the brightened appearance,” Jaime added.

She said honey worked as a good mixer and was also “so soothing.”

In the comments section, Jaime said that plain yogurt can be added to the mixture so the turmeric doesn’t stain the skin.

Jaime said that she leaves it on for five to seven minutes and does it once a week.

Turmeric has properties that will give skin a “natural glow,” according to Healthline.

Just as Jaime suggested, the outlet wrote that you can mix yogurt, honey, and turmeric to create a paste for your face.

Putting raw honey on your face also has benefits, per Healthline.

Raw honey helps balance the bacteria on your skin, speeds up your skin cells’ healing processes, and can work as a natural exfoliator.

Some people in the comments section on Jaime’s page said the turmeric stained their faces.

Adding plain yogurt to the honey and turmeric can reduce the chance of skin being stained, she said.
